Situated in the Chambers Commons plaza on 2351 Jonesboro Rd, this franchise from Chicago has expanded its reach once again in Henry County. Tonya Armour, owner, in this newest location of JJ Fish and Chicken, expresses satisfaction with the positive reception from customers so far.

Armour, a successful real estate broker and business owner, is the franchise’s first American-American female owner.  “JJ’s food is a personal favorite.  It’s a brand I personally believe in, corporate embraced me as family with an unheard of level of support and resources.”

Armour emphasizes that every order is freshly prepared. The menu also features a range of delectable sides including French fries, coleslaw, corn nuggets, hush puppies, okra, mac and cheese bites, jalapeno poppers, and more.

“The deliciousness of our food is what keeps people coming back.  People know to expect a short wait because all of our food is cooked to order” Armour proudly states.

Armour highly recommends trying the wings and shrimp combo, which she considers a must-try dish at the restaurant.

To quench their thirst, patrons can enjoy JJ’s freshly-squeezed lemonade, which can be customized with a selection of eight flavorings including mango, strawberry, blue raspberry, and watermelon. Simply request your desired flavor from the staff.

While acknowledging the presence of other fried chicken restaurants, Armour emphasizes that JJ Fish & Chicken is committed to continuous improvement.
